AWANA - Because Kids Matter to God Reaching boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him. What is AWANA? AWANA is a youth ministry committed to "reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him." Children attend AWANA club each week where they play games, memorize Bible verses and listen to Bible Stories. From preschool to sixth grade, children have fun while being taught the Word of God. "All Workmen Are Not Ashamed" A Place For Each Child Cubbies: The AWANA club for preschoolers (two years before kindergarten) is built on the premises that young children can and should receive spiritual training and that home is the primary place for spiritual training. Sparks: The AWANA club for children in kindergarten through second grade builds on the material taught in our preschool club. The aim is to take youngsters a step deeper into God's Word while giving unsaved boys and girls regular opportunities to hear the gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ. Truth & Training (T&T) The name Truth & Training reflects a passion to teach third through sixth grade boys and girls the truth of God's Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives.
