AWANA, a children's club for preschool through 6th graders, begins Wednesday, September 26, at 6:30pm.

This Sunday

When faced with fear, we often panic rather than pray.  But, when we pray, we change even though our circumstances may not. The peace of God that surpasses understanding guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.  We are overwhelmed by God, not our circumstances. This Sunday’s message from Acts 4:23-31 entitled, “Panic or Pray?” illustrates how something happens when God’s people pray. The power of God is unleashed. Fear weakens us, but prayer strengthens us. Fear prompts panic, but prayer produces peace. What’s threatening you? Are you fearful about a situation you’re facing? Take a lesson from the early church which didn’t panic, but prayed!  When fearful, talk to the Father!
