New Genesis exists to equip 7th-12th
grade students for a lifetime of authentic faithfulness to God.
Whatever the student’s past or present, we want them to start a new
future by
knowing
about our great God,
growing
in a relationship with Him, and
going
into action by living for Him and helping others in need.
KNOWING We cannot love someone we do not know.
On Sunday mornings at 9am,
we gather to learn about God by studying His Word.
If you want to know what God is about, this would be the best place
to find out!
GROWING Knowledge of God is not enough.
God also wants to have a relationship with each one of us.
We want to learn how to have a growing relationship with God in the
midst of our busy, confusing, and challenging lives. We gather on
Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm to read and discuss various life issues.
We also gather monthly on a
Sunday evening at 5:30pm to talk about some of the important challenges
of our day, and how God might use us to lead our generation through those
challenges.
GOING Beliefs lead to action, and we believe that serving each
other is part of what it means to be a Christian.
We encourage students to stretch their faith by joining other
ministries in the church and participating in various opportunities to help
people in need. This could be a
service project in the
community, a short-term missions trip, or welcoming friends into our homes
at monthly Build Nights.
