Shawnee Hills…

is pleased to present our new Great Food for All Ministry.  Through GFA,  a non-denominational organization located in Newton Falls, OH, you can purchase groceries at a 30-40% savings.  Each month a menu of food items are sold by the “box” at $30.00 per unit.  Each unit is enough to feed a family of four for about one week, including a variety of restaurant-quality frozen foods.

After you purchase a regular unit of food, you may also order special packages, such as different meat combos or senior convenience meals, for prices between $15 and $25.

GFA is available to everyone—there are no income requirements to participate.  Neither are you limited in how much you can purchase.  You may order as many units and special packages as you wish.

GFA is a non-profit ministry; all monies collected pay for the groceries you buy—nothing else.

  • You can enhance the variety and quality of the food you serve your family; menus include several meats, beef (even steaks), chicken, fish, & pork.

  • You get to meet the friendly people of Shawnee Hills!  Everyone involved in the ministry is a volunteer who would love to get to know you.

Getting Involved is as Easy as 1-2-3

1: Menu

Examine the current month’s menu for the regular unit and specials available; menus also include order dates/times, pick-up date/times, and ordering directions

  • Menus are available at Shawnee Hills Baptist Church; office hours are 8:00-4:00 Monday -Thursday and 8:00-3:00 Friday
  • Menus, dates, and times for each month will be posted on our website at www.shbcfamily.com.
  • The new menu for the following month is always included with your order on pick-up day

2: Order

Currently there are two ways to order; soon there will be three ways.

  • Come in person to Shawnee Hills (no phone orders) on one of the two order days.  Dates and times change, so make sure to check your menu, go to our website, or call the Food Ministry information line at 937-675-7013.  Pay up-front (cash, money orders, and food stamps are accepted to pay for food).  The price is $30 per regular unit and variable for the specials.

  • Mail your order.  Send order details and payment (money orders or Debit Card) to GFA at the church address.  Orders should include your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address.  For Debit Card payments, include your Debit Card information as well.  Also include a stamped, self-addressed envelope so we can send you a receipt.  Orders must arrive by the Friday deadline.  Late orders will be placed the following month.  Click here for mail order form.
