    David Culver - Lead Pastor

I became the Lead Pastor of Shawnee Hills Baptist Church on April 8, 2013.  My wife, Carolyn, and I are privileged to serve the Lord with this special church family and we look forward to how God is going to grow us together in reaching our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and teaching one another to love and serve Him.  Prior to Shawnee Hills, I pastored churches in Ohio, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, and served with a mission agency in Indiana.  Carolyn and I have four adult children, three of whom are married, and eight grandchildren.

It is my joy to preach and teach God's Word, encouraging God's people to become fully committed followers of Jesus Christ.  Carolyn is a gifted teacher and discipler of women, and an encourager of women's ministries.  We are blessed to be part of the Shawnee Hills family and co-laborers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ within this community.

    Adam McCune - Associate Pastor

My wife, Michelle, and I are grateful to be part of the Shawnee Hills Baptist Church family. Michelle has been a member for ten years and I have been a member for five years. Prior to moving to Ohio, I lived on the southern outskirts of Chicago, where I served as a youth and children's pastor for three years. Since that time, the Lord has provided a way for me to complete my seminary education and serve the church in various capacities at the same time.

My passion is to see youth take their manhood or womanhood seriously so that they might be used by God to lead their generation in a God-ward direction. That is why I serve as the pastor of teen ministry and discipleship. God has also given me an opportunity to live with 200 college students at Cedarville University, where I mentor men in the dorms. God has given Michelle a passion for young mothers or mothers-to-be, and serves both the church and community by encouraging women in that stage of life. In 2009, God blessed Michelle and I with a very energetic son, Tinsley William. He likes to wrestle, sing, read books, hang upside down, and wake us up way too early every morning. Every night, we pray that God would help us, as a family, to serve Him faithfully and fruitfully.
