AWANA, a children's club for preschool through 6th graders, will not meet this week but will resume on Wednesday, November 28 at 6:30pm.
The apostle Paul invested two years of his life in Ephesus, evangelizing the lost and discipling believers in establishing a local church. But then, it was time to bid them farewell. How did Paul leave and what did he do and say to ensure that what he had invested would continue to reap spiritual benefits? The next prayer passage is Acts 20:17-38 where Paul meets with the Ephesian elders for A Final Farewell. What he said and did reinforced his two-year ministry among them and positioned them for being able to continue and move forward. He said goodbye with tears, but with no regrets. Let’s learn how to serve well so that we can leave well, for Jesus’ sake.
