Kids is a literacy-based, one-to-one tutoring and mentoring program.
Whiz Kids focuses on breaking the cycle of educational despair …one
life at a time.
 Tutoring
sites are truly community-driven.
A local church (SHBC) embraces a neighborhood public elementary
school (Greeneview), develops relationships with school administrators and
teachers and provides trained and screened volunteer leaders and tutors.
Volunteers commit to tutoring throughout the school year.
 We
will begin again October 4 and will continue every Tuesday during the school year from 4-5pm.
Worker training meetings will be held on September 20 and 27 at 4pm.
